CTM customers win with NDC-driven savings

Corporate Travel Management (CTM) delivers tangible results for its customers through its New Distribution Capability (NDC) solution, with early adopters enjoying improved access to air content, and measurable cost savings.

Since the announcement of the successful launch of Qantas’ NDC model on the 1st July, CTM has seen a strong uptake across its customer base, seeking a broader range of airfare content.

John Balloch, CTM’s Chief Partnership Officer Global Air & GDS, said: “Our goal with NDC is simple: better content, better pricing and better control. We’re now seeing that vision translate into real-world value for our customers.”

Key outcomes reported since Qantas’ new distribution model launch include:

  • CTM customers have seen savings up to 16% on new NDC fares, with an average of 8.44% savings compared to traditional fares, which are now being surcharged at $11.50 per ticket from Qantas.
  • CTM’s Lightning booking technology is the only tool that can currently support all Qantas NDC functionality: new bookings, changes, and cancellations online for bookings with mixed NDC and non-NDC fares.
  • By owning the end-to-end technology ecosystem, CTM is equipped to support all components of NDC bookings including mid-office ticketing and invoicing, and intuitive reporting via our CTM Data Hub dashboards.
  • Being a Qantas Premium Channel Partner, CTM offers customers the broadest range of Qantas content and exclusive access to future products and services.

“CTM’s NDC solution wasn’t built to be just another plug-and-play tool. We designed it specifically for corporate travel, combining our airline relationships, in-house tech, and expert support to make it easy to use, scalable, and aligned with the way our customers need to book and manage travel.

“It’s about making sure NDC works in the real world, saving money, simplifying bookings, and giving our customers more choice,” says Balloch.

CTM continues to expand its airline NDC partnerships around the globe and evolve its booking platform capabilities to support a growing pipeline of customer demand for modern air retailing.
